Nappy rash (aka diaper dermatitis) is a common illness in babies that appears in the 3rd week of life. It affects 50% of babies* and is characterised by redness over the nappy area and tight, papery skin. Unsurprisingly, nappy rash causes a great deal of discomfort to babies, especially at changing time.
